A very nice Marmalade

April 10, 2009 · Leave a Comment

dsc_0010I’m a big fan of IKEA. I’m an even bigger fan of IKEA FOOD. They carry some very nice products that contain ingredients that are not artificially created in a lab. Wow! What an amazing idea!
Today’s post will highlight the SYLT FLADER & APELSIN, Orange and Elderflower Marmalade, 15oz(425g) product. This product has a nice bite and is rather “citrus-y” in its flavor. It also contains orange zest (aka tiny bits of orange peel) that provide very nice flavor in the use of this Marmalade on toast, on tortes/tarts, pancakes, waffles and any other situation in which one would insist on the use of a citrus-inspired flavor.
In terms of isolating the Elderflower flavor from this product, I don’t recall tasting Elderflower in any other product although that may have occurred without me knowing it, but it seems very nice in what it adds to the Marmalade or at least the gimmick is working with me. LOL!
Either way, I highly recommend you pick up a jar of this product on your next trip to IKEA and enjoy it.
